Rising space metal opera project Aedan Sky unveils its second single, A Kingdom To The Stars, out today via Rockshots Records. The track follows the band’s acclaimed debut single Beyond The Vortex Of Time and offers another glimpse into the upcoming full-length, The Universal Realm, set for release on September 12th, 2025.
The brainchild of Sébastien Chabot (Galderia, Kingcrown), Aedan Sky fuses the speed and power of European power metal with sweeping narratives and cosmic themes. Alongside longtime collaborators Bob Saliba (Kingcrown, ex-Galderia) and Thomas Schmitt (Galderia), Chabot crafts a galactic metal opera where melody, storytelling, and metaphysics intertwine.
On A Kingdom To The Stars, listeners are propelled into a vision of celestial grandeur. Within the story of The Universal Realm, the protagonist Sky beholds a shining kingdom among the stars, heralding the dawn of transformation. Musically, the track is a soaring display of speed-driven riffs, anthemic choruses, and three intertwining vocal leads, Chabot as Sky, Saliba as Aedan, and Schmitt as Sky’s Soul, delivering a dramatic operatic atmosphere in the tradition of Avantasia and Rhapsody.
Mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni (Rhapsody, DGM, Secret Sphere) at Domination Studio, the single boasts crisp, modern production, while the album’s artwork was created by celebrated artist Felipe Machado Franco, known for his work with countless metal legends.
With its powerful mix of energy and imagination, Aedan Sky carries forward the torch of late-’90s and early-2000s melodic power metal into a new cosmic era. Fans of Helloween, Gamma Ray, Stratovarius, Angra, and Avantasia will find themselves at home in this stellar journey.
