Amon Amarth and Dethklok have officially announced The Amonklok Conquest, a massive North American co-headlining tour taking place in Spring 2026, with rising theatrical doom force Castle Rat joining as special guests.
The tour marks the first time the Viking metal legends and the animated death metal juggernaut have shared the stage, promising a night of spectacle, theatrics, and over-the-top heavy metal mayhem. Amon Amarth are preparing an extended set featuring an all-new stage production, while Dethklok celebrate the 20th anniversary of Metalocalypse with a full band lineup led by creator Brendon Small.
Artist pre-sales begin today at 12pm ET, with general tickets going on sale Friday, December 12 at 10am local via amonklok.com.
Amon Amarth are coming off a huge year performing alongside Slayer and Pantera, and recently released new single “We Rule The Waves”. The band has also confirmed a brand-new album arriving late 2026, continuing their legacy of cinematic, battle-ready modern metal.
Meanwhile, Dethklok’s return marks a milestone moment, two decades of combining extreme metal with comedy, animated destruction, and absurdly precise musicianship. Their current lineup features heavy-hitting drummer Gene Hoglan, guitarist Nili Brosh, and bassist Pete Griffin, ensuring the on-stage incarnation is every bit as explosive as its animated counterpart.
Castle Rat add a fantastical dimension to the bill, bringing their cult performance art, doom-laden theatrics, and sword-wielding stage presence as they join the campaign to “defend The Realm.”
With enormous stage production, immersive storytelling, and the combined might of three theatrical heavyweights, The Amonklok Conquest is shaping up to be one of 2026’s most essential metal tours.
