International heavy metal duo Bergfried will release their new album Romantik III on October 24, 2025, via High Roller Records. The album marks the third and final installment in the band’s Romantik trilogy, following Romantik I (2022) and Romantik II (2023).
The opening track and first single, Dark Wings, is now available. The song introduces listeners to the album’s concept, which follows the character of Anna as she journeys through hell in search of her lover, encountering both divine and infernal forces. Guest appearances include Maria Nesh (Red Eye Temple), Sarah Kitteringham (Smoulder), and Damna (Elvenking).
Romantik III features Erech von Lothringen on rhythm and lead guitars, Anna de Savoy on vocals, Fabio Alessandrini (Annihilator, Enforcer, Bonfire) on drums, Sam Plekhanov (Red Eye Temple) on bass, and Mat Plekhanov (Red Eye Temple, Dragony) on guitar solos. The album was mixed and mastered by Olof Wikstrand at Hvergelmer Studio & Music Production, with artwork by Aaron Lawrance.
