Beyond The Black Unveil Moving New Single “The Art Of Being Alone” (Feat. Chris Harms of Lord Of The Lost)

Symphonic metal band BEYOND THE BLACK have released their stirring new single The Art Of Being Alone, featuring guest vocals from Chris Harms of Lord Of The Lost. The track marks the third single from the band’s highly anticipated sixth studio album, Break The Silence, arriving January 9th, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records.

An anthem born out of solitude and resilience, The Art Of Being Alone dives deep into themes of mental health, self-empowerment, and rediscovering strength in isolation. The accompanying music video paints a cinematic picture of despair gradually transformed into hope, symbolizing the path from confinement to self-liberation.

Jennifer Haben on the song:

“‘The Art Of Being Alone’ is one of the most emotional songs for us since it‘s born from personal battles and quiet reflections. We wanted it to be fragile and powerful at the same time and we believe many of you will find your own story between its lines. Having Chris Harms join us with his uniquely intense voice and personality felt absolutely perfect and brought a depth to this track that made it even more special.”

Chris Harms adds:

“This duet was long overdue! For more than 10 years now, LORD OF THE LOST and BEYOND THE BLACK have been crossing paths — we like and appreciate each other and it was kind of obvious that Jenny’s and my voices would work great together. Now we’ve finally made it happen and created this powerful, goosebump-inducing song together! I’m really happy about it!”

Due in early 2026, Break The Silence promises to be BEYOND THE BLACK’s most ambitious work yet. Rooted in melodic symphonic metal and enriched with ethno influences, the record is a conceptual exploration of communication, resilience, and the importance of reconnecting in a fragmented world. Songs like Let There Be Rain, (La Vie Est Un) Cinéma, Ravens, and The Flood push lyrical and musical boundaries, offering an emotional, multi-layered listening experience.
