Norwegian death metallers BLOOD RED THRONE return with the first teaser of their forthcoming twelfth studio album, Siltskin, due December 5th, 2025 via Soulseller Records. The new single, Husk In The Grain, arrives with a lyric video and delivers everything fans have come to expect, razor-sharp riffing, ferocious groove, and the band’s unmistakable crushing heaviness.

Formed nearly three decades ago by Daniel “Død” Olaisen (then of Satyricon), BLOOD RED THRONE continue to carve their own brutal path in extreme metal. Siltskin marks the band’s next evolution, faster, heavier, and more melodic than ever—while retaining their signature BRT sound.
The album was mixed and mastered by Ronnie Björnström at Bjornstromsound, with artwork by Giannis Nakos (Remedy Art Design).
The current lineup unites founding guitarist Død, longtime drummer Freddy Bolsø, guitarist Ivan “Meathook” Gujić, bassist Stian Gundersen, and newest member Sindre Wathne Johnsen on vocals.
BLOOD RED THRONE have spent 25 years dominating the world’s stages, from Wacken to Hellfest and Bloodstock, as well as tours alongside Dimmu Borgir, Suffocation, and Enslaved. With Siltskin, their reign continues unabated.
