Norwegian death metal titans BLOOD RED THRONE have unleashed another brutal preview of their upcoming 12th studio album, Siltskin, set for release on December 5th, 2025 through Soulseller Records.

Nearly three decades into their career, BLOOD RED THRONE continue to refine their signature sound while pushing things heavier, faster, more melodic and more punishing than ever. Siltskin stays true to the band’s unmistakable brutality while showcasing some of their sharpest and most commanding songwriting to date.
The album was mixed and mastered by Ronnie Björnström (Bjornstromsound), with striking cover art crafted by Giannis Nakos (Remedy Art Design).
Founded in the ’90s by guitarist Daniel “Død” Olaisen during his time in Satyricon, BLOOD RED THRONE have become a fixture of global death metal. With drummer Freddy Bolsø returning in 2013, guitarist Ivan “Meathook” Gujić on board since 2010, bassist Stian Gundersen joining in 2018, and vocalist Sindre Wathne Johnsen taking over in 2023, the band remains a formidable and road-hardened force.
Their relentless touring history spans headlining runs, support tours with Dimmu Borgir, Enslaved, Suffocation, Cryptopsy, and appearances at major festivals including Wacken, Hellfest, Bloodstock, 70,000 Tons of Metal, Brutal Assault — even reaching Dubai and Mongolia.
