INTOXICATED Announce New Album The Dome + Drop Pulverizing First Single “War Club”

Florida death-thrash veterans INTOXICATED return with their third full-length album, The Dome, arriving March 27, 2026 through Redefining Darkness Records. To mark the announcement, the band have unleashed the blistering first single “War Club”, accompanied by a performance-driven music video showcasing their trademark ferocity.

Vocalist/guitarist Erik Payne explains:

“‘War Club’ captures Intoxicated’s uncompromising perspective as observers of today’s fractured world. It reflects being dragged into fights you never asked for—pushed by forces that don’t represent who you are. The track channels that frustration into a violent metaphor, exploring how even good people can feel driven to confront the malevolent forces dragging society down.”

Formed in 1993 in Altamonte Springs, Florida, INTOXICATED quickly became part of the state’s extreme metal lineage, earning early mentorship from Chuck Schuldiner (Death). Their sound fuses ragged thrash intensity with Florida death metal grit, drawing comparisons to Death, Sadus, Obituary, and the classic death-thrash canon.

Following a run of influential 90s EPs, the band went on hiatus as Payne, Donald Tardy, and Ken Andrews joined Andrew W.K.’s touring lineup for nearly 20 years. INTOXICATED roared back to life in 2019, releasing the Walled EP (2020) and the full-length Watch You Burn (2022), produced/mixed/mastered by Ryan Boesch at Candor Recording.

Now, the band is ready to strike again with The Dome.
