American symphonic metal band Seven Spires have released the digital deluxe version of their acclaimed album A Fortress Called Home, available now via Frontiers Music Srl. The expanded edition arrives alongside the band’s haunting new single “House of Lies (Acoustic)”, accompanied by a visualizer that reimagines one of the record’s most emotional moments in stripped-down form.
Frontwoman Adrienne Cowan reflects on the new version:
“‘House of Lies’ first spilled from my heart in this stripped-back form as a tender meditation on the knife’s edge between hope and grief. Sometimes a song speaks differently when its bones have space to breathe.”
Bassist and producer Jack Kosto adds:
“When making an album, there are inevitably some ideas that get cut from the official release due to the limitations of CDs or other physical media. What a wonderful thing then that we live in a digital world where many of those limitations don’t have to apply! Over a year after the initial release, and in celebration of the imminent European tour, we’re happy to be releasing the Deluxe version of A Fortress Called Home on all your favorite streaming platforms.”

The release coincides with Seven Spires’ upcoming European tour, which kicks off October 17th in London, marking the beginning of another ambitious live chapter for the band.
Formed in 2013 at Berklee College of Music, Seven Spires have carved a reputation for blending symphonic grandeur, melodic ferocity, and cinematic emotion. Their dynamic sound merges metal with elements of jazz, orchestral, and dark theatrical influences, pushing genre boundaries while maintaining a deeply human core.
In support of A Fortress Called Home, the band has performed across three continents, including tours with Kamelot, Skálmöld, and Ad Infinitum, as well as festival appearances at 70000 Tons of Metal, ProgPower USA, and Metaldays.
Looking ahead to 2025, Seven Spires will appear at Wacken Open Air, Leyendas del Rock, and Legions of Metal, followed by extensive touring alongside Sonata Arctica, Ad Infinitum, and Tulip.
