On Samhain 2025, Nuclear War Now! Productions will release The Endchanter, the long-awaited debut full-length from Italian extreme metal band Araphel. Following 2024’s Old Comet Transition EP, the new album presents seven tracks of raw yet poetic black metal steeped in underground tradition while rejecting fantasy in favor of stark personal truth.
Helmed by prolific Italian musician Santo with support from veteran collaborators, Araphel’s sound nods to Bathory, Dissection, and early Greek black metal while forging its own distinct identity. The Endchanter is described as an unflinching critique of society’s imposed rules, merging classic extreme metal ferocity with deeply sincere narrative songwriting.
The title track is now streaming at Araphel’s Bandcamp and Nuclear War Now!’s Bandcamp.
The Endchanter will be available on CD, vinyl, and digital formats.
