Norwegian thrash maniacs Deathhammer have revealed the official video for Satan’s Sword, the latest single from their highly anticipated sixth album, Crimson Dawn. The record is set for international release on August 29th via Hells Headbangers.
For over two decades, the infernal duo Sadomancer and Sergeant Salsten have stood as torchbearers of blackthrash mayhem, crafting an unholy fusion of thrash and black metal that’s unmistakably their own. Crimson Dawn continues this violent legacy with some of the band’s fiercest and most dynamic material to date — even featuring the pair trading guitar duties on each other’s songs for the first time in their career.
Mixed by Arild M. Torp (Nekromantheon, Abhorration), the album also boasts guest solos from Bowel Ripper (Impugner) and Torp himself, further fueling the chaos. From the blistering speed of Satan’s Sword to the epic closer Into the Blackness of Hell, Crimson Dawn proves Deathhammer remain one of underground metal’s most vital forces.
