Swedish rock band GRAVEYARD have returned with the stomping new single “A Means To An End,” offering the first taste of their seventh studio album, Fever, set for release on October 9, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Arriving three years after the darker and more introspective Six, Fever finds GRAVEYARD turning up the heat with a heavier, more direct approach. The record is drenched in fuzz and distortion while retaining the blues-soaked character that has defined the band throughout their career.
The nine-track album opens with the massive, Sabbath-inspired grooves of “Back From The Grave,” while “Time To Tell” channels a touch of CCR-fueled grandeur. Tracks including “Room Tempered,” “Tongue Tied” and new single “A Means To An End” lean into straightforward, hard-hitting rock, while closing track “Dead Note” reconnects with the slower, bluesier spirit of the band’s breakthrough album, Hisingen Blues.
For Fever, GRAVEYARD enlisted Pelle Gunnerfeldt to handle mixing. Gunnerfeldt is known for his work capturing the raw energy of artists including The Hives, Refused and Viagra Boys. Mastering was handled by Robin Schmidt at 24-96 Mastering.
The album also introduces a striking visual departure from the subtle and mysterious artwork of Six. GRAVEYARD once again collaborated with acclaimed Dutch artist Maarten Donders, who previously worked with the band on their split 7-inch with Goat. Donders’ work has also been featured extensively at Roadburn Festival and across projects for more than 50 artists, ranging from Acid King to Frank Zappa.

The album will be available digitally and across multiple physical editions, including black, oxblood, transparent orange, Coke Bottle Green/Black Marbled and Transparent Blue/Red/Yellow Twister vinyl variants, alongside a jewelcase CD.
Following the release of Fever, GRAVEYARD will kick off their touring cycle with a run of Scandinavian dates alongside BLUES PILLS and SKRAECKÖDLAN. Further touring across Europe and the UK, as well as festival appearances, is planned for 2027.
With two Swedish number-one albums already under their belt, GRAVEYARD are turning the amplifiers back up for Fever, embracing heavier riffs and fiery energy without abandoning the blues-driven soul at the heart of their sound.
